Something turned
upside down,
inside out,
a sudden change.

The collection is an exploration and discussion of fluidity versus rigidity both in silhouettes and prints.
Shapes are born from a combination of tailoring and draping. In a struggle between movement and control,
motion is trapped or released in constructions where two expressions switch their order of appearance,
some of them seeming to constantly evolve through movement. A new vocabulary is formed through a loss
of control. Static, heavy-looking shapes suddenly acquire shape and volume through movement. Print
acts as an extension of the shape. Static digital printing comes alive in repetition and movement. The same
print that can be found on silk, was applied to a high-tech fabric. Layering of this fabric creates a holographic
effect. The colour palette, with a few exceptions, is kept dark and monochrome to focus attention on the shapes.
An elegant, modern collection that questions the notion of form and print as a static element.
